Just got back to a trip to Blackwater Falls WV with Chuck Robinson and later in the week the Baltimore Camera Club. We had stunning fall colors and a variety of weather . Opportunities for great photographs abounded! I've been to Blackwater before but not to Douglas Falls located near the adjacent town of Thomas. The beginning of the week was mostly blue sky and a few clouds. On those days we looked for places to shoot in the shade. Thursday morning when this photo was taken provided overcast and intermittent rain. Perfect conditions for photographing a waterfall.
